Seven suspects are in custody following a violent home invasion in Irvine, California, where victims were held at gunpoint and restrained with duct tape as intruders attempted to steal millions in cryptocurrency. The attack, which occurred in September, targeted a family believed to possess high-value digital assets, but the robbers left empty-handed. The investigation resulted in a manhunt that led to the apprehension of the final suspect in Las Vegas last week, with law enforcement tying several of the arrested individuals to previous criminal activities.

The alleged ringleader, 21-year-old Nathan Sin, and his accomplices now face multiple felony charges, with each looking at a maximum sentence of 44 years to life if convicted. Notably, the crime was partly linked to surveillance footage showing the purchase of duct tape at a Walmart, which has provided critical evidence against the suspects. Orange County officials emphasized their commitment to bringing these criminals to justice, highlighting the collaborative efforts of local law enforcement agencies to resolve the case.
