An 84-year-old man in Palm Bay has been charged with attempted murder after allegedly shooting his adult son in the face during a weekly family visit. William Nowak, who serves as a caregiver for his wife and daughter, reportedly retrieved a handgun amid an argument with his son on December 9, leading to the violent incident.
The son was quickly transported to Holmes Regional Medical Center for treatment, although his condition is currently unknown. Nowak, who was found at the scene visibly distressed, is being held without bond at the Brevard County Jail Complex, with police emphasizing the seriousness of the situation as they continue their investigation.
