A road-rage incident in Glen Burnie, Md., ended with the aggressor shot dead by the armed victim.
Police say a 51-year-old man allegedly tailgated the 22-year-old victim, who was riding his motorcycle on the evening of Thursday, Nov. 7, 2024. The man had allegedly been driving erratically, when he finally pulled up alongside the motorcyclist and shouted at him. The aggressive driver then nearly collided with the motorcycle, causing the 22-year-old to pull off the road. Both vehicles then came to a stop.
The victim then alleged that the aggressive driver exited his vehicle and then charged at him while brandishing a hammer. The motorcyclist, who holds a Maryland concealed carry permit, drew his handgun and shot the attacker. Police pronounced the 51-year-old dead at the scene. (Fox 5 News; Glen Burnie, Md.; 11/7/24)

Having just opened the store for the day, Birmingham, Ala., pharmacist William Camp hadn’t yet taken off the gun he carried to work. That was unfortunate for the robber who walked in and stuck a pistol in Camp’s face. In the ensuing shootout, the robber was critically wounded, but Camp was unhurt. The robber was free on bond for two earlier robbery charges, police said. (The Nest’s; Birmingham, Ala.)
