In response to escalating gun violence among teens, Lewiston is launching a series of safety information sessions aimed at educating parents and children. The initiative follows multiple incidents, including a shooting at a back-to-school event last August, which left residents like Amran Osman alarmed and calling for community action.

Local leaders stress the importance of open lines of communication, as they seek to engage citizens in finding solutions to this pressing concern.
