Nevada-based GForce Arms is known for importing unique rifles, shotguns and handguns made in Turkey. The company is expanding its offerings, and its manufacturing base, with the USA-made, new-for-2025 Jawbone.
The Jawbone is a blowback-operated, AR-9-type semi-automatic pistol chambered in 9 mm Luger. Its lower receiver is a hybrid design that is made of overmolded polymer with aluminum inserts. The molded-in pistol grip doubles as a holder for a spare magazine, with the magazine retained by a push button magazine release. At the rear of the receiver, an aluminum receiver extension allows for the mounting of an Ace of Brace paddle stabilizing brace.
The upper receiver and handguard are made of aluminum alloy. No sights are supplied, but a Picatinny optic rail extends across the top of both upper receiver and handguard. The 5.2” barrel is made of 4140 steel, has its muzzle threaded 1/2×28 TPI, and comes with a “blast diverter” muzzle device installed.
Compatible with all Glock-pattern, double-column, 9 mm Luger magazines, a single 33-round magazine is included with the Jawbone. Both the magazine and rotating safety lever are bilateral. The forward-mounted, non-reciprocating charging handle is reversible for ambidexterity. The bolt will lock open on an empty magazine and a bolt release is mounted on the left side in the typical AR position. Aluminum parts are given a black anodizing and steel parts are nitride finished. With an overall length of 20.75”, the Jawbone weighs 5 lbs.
