This week marks the 22nd anniversary of the deaths of NYPD Detectives James Nemorin and Rodney Andrews, who were killed during an undercover gun buy on Staten Island on March 10, 2003. The two detectives were ambushed by 19-year-old Ronell Wilson, who opened fire on them with a .44-caliber revolver after they attempted to purchase a TEC-9 semi-automatic pistol, leaving them fatally wounded.
