Phoenix police have recommended charges against six individuals—three adults and three juveniles—related to a violent altercation that occurred on Christmas Day at Sky Harbor International Airport. This incident left four people injured, including one critically, and involved multiple firearms being discharged in a fight outside the security checkpoints in Terminal 4.

Detectives reviewed extensive evidence, including surveillance footage, to piece together the events that led to the shooting and a stabbing. The involved parties, who were known to each other, engaged in a physical altercation, during which one man fired shots, hitting a woman and a teenage boy, while another armed teenager retaliated with a knife. As the investigation continues, police submitted their findings to the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office, awaiting charging decisions on multiple serious offenses including aggravated assault.
