Authorities are actively searching for a man who brandished a firearm while threatening an MTA bus driver in the Bronx on April 19. The incident occurred at approximately 1 p.m. when the 37-year-old driver was navigating the BX41 bus and encountered the suspect, who reportedly began arguing before pulling out a gun and issuing threats.

The suspect is described as wearing a distinctive “Chucky” sweatshirt—an eerie nod to the horror film character—and sunglasses, along with his dreadlocked hairstyle. After the alarming exchange, he fled the scene, prompting police to release a photo and appeal to the community for information. Anyone with tips is encouraged to contact Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS, with assurances that all calls will remain confidential.
