Ghost Guns Increasingly Found in Southern Nevada

Clark County Sheriff Kevin McMahill reveals a troubling trend in Southern Nevada: ghost guns, which lack serial numbers and are virtually untraceable, are increasingly being found during law enforcement operations. In Henderson alone, police recovered 284 ghost guns last year, marking a 15% rise from 2023, highlighting the growing concern over privately made firearms in the region.

Despite a ban on ghost guns upheld by the Nevada Supreme Court in 2024, the challenge remains as many criminals can still access these weapons.
