Young Boy Shot and Killed in Baltimore

A 6-year-old boy tragically loses his life after a shooting in Southwest Baltimore on Saturday afternoon. Police were called to the 800 block of Vine Street and discovered the child with a gunshot wound inside a residence, where he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities recovered a gun at the location, but it remains unclear if the injury was self-inflicted or occurred under other circumstances. With no adults present at the time of the shooting, investigators are urging anyone with information to contact Metro Crime Stoppers or the homicide unit at 410-396-2100.
