LaSean Green, a 31-year-old resident of South Bend, has been sentenced to 11 years in prison for his role in an armed robbery that occurred during a Facebook Marketplace transaction. The incident took place at Cabin Coffee Co. in Goshen, where Green and a second suspect assaulted a victim who had come to buy two phones, leading to a violent confrontation that included a pistol-whipping.

Originally facing a Level 3 felony charge, Green pleaded guilty to the armed robbery and also received a sentence for unlawful possession of a firearm by a serious violent felon.
