Steven Madison, 39, pleads guilty in federal court for his involvement in a high-stakes robbery that took place outside a Swansea bank in February 2024. Alongside two accomplices, Madison and Christopher White allegedly held a courier at gunpoint, securing over $436,000 meant for area cannabis dispensaries before making their escape in a stolen vehicle.

The robbery escalated violently, with the courier being zip-tied and pepper-sprayed during the incident. Notably, after freeing himself, the courier fired shots at the fleeing suspects. Madison faces multiple charges, including robbery and firearm offenses, and a search of his home uncovered a Rolex bought shortly after the crime, suggesting premeditation. The case raises troubling questions about robbery planning, with a fourth suspect connected to the cannabis dispensaries.
