Police in Ocean View, Delaware, recently engaged in a crucial training program designed to enhance their response to active shooter scenarios. Utilizing the Active Attack Integrated Response course, officers participated in realistic simulations to develop coordination and quick decision-making skills during high-stress situations. Officer Adam Hibbitt emphasized that each officer plays a vital role in these events, turning their response into “a well-orchestrated machine.” As the need for prepared and capable law enforcement has never been more critical, this initiative aims to ensure the safety of the community in the event of unforeseen emergencies.
