The incident occurred early Saturday morning near Acacia and Bentler streets, where authorities responded to multiple gunfire reports just before 3 a.m., according to Capt. Shannon Hampton.
The victims, aged 17 to 18, were reportedly involved in an illegal street gathering that may have sparked the violence. Police are urging anyone who witnessed the event or has information to contact the Sixth Precinct Detective Unit or submit anonymous tips through Detroit Rewards TV, as local officials emphasize the importance of community involvement in addressing neighborhood safety.
