A Birmingham man, Frederick Leonard Temple, Jr., faces 36 years in federal prison following his conviction for multiple gun and drug offenses. The jury found Temple guilty of possessing a machine gun and distributing fentanyl, along with other serious drug charges, demonstrating a significant commitment to combatting violent crime and drug trafficking. During an execution of a search warrant at Temple’s residence, law enforcement seized 14 firearms, including a Glock 9 mm pistol modified with a machine gun-conversion device, as well as substantial amounts of fentanyl and methamphetamine.
