Matt Jennings, the host of the hunting show “The Game,” faces a lifetime ban from hunting in Kansas following his illegal deer hunts, which he featured on his program. The Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks confirmed that Jennings, a 35-year-old Georgia native, has been permanently prohibited from hunting in the state after pleading guilty to two counts of illegal taking of a white tail deer in interstate commerce, leading to serious legal repercussions.

In addition to the lifelong ban, Jennings has been ordered to pay $15,000 in restitution and must serve five years of probation, restricting him from hunting, trapping, or fishing in eight additional states. His infractions included killing two antlered deer within a single season, a violation of Kansas law that permits only one per season. This case raises significant questions about wildlife conservation and the responsibilities of hunting show hosts, making Jennings’ story one that resonates beyond the immediate consequences.
