With the P320 approved for use in departments such as Tampa and Plant City, Alvarez contends that the firearm poses a significant threat to both officers and the communities they serve. Following a recent investigation, the U.S. Air Force has also paused its use of the handgun. While Tampa Police are exploring alternatives, Plant City PD shows no plans to discontinue its use, raising urgent questions about public safety and law enforcement practices.
