Attorneys Ben Crump and Harry Daniels announce a press conference to present “new evidence” regarding the controversial arrest of 22-year-old William McNeil Jr. They claim this evidence will demonstrate that a Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office officer pointed a firearm at McNeil during a now-viral traffic stop, intensifying scrutiny of the police’s actions. The incident, which initially stemmed from a minor traffic violation, escalated to the point where cellphone footage shows an officer breaking McNeil’s window and physically assaulting him.
