The Civilian Office of Police Accountability (COPA) is currently investigating a police-involved shooting that took place Friday afternoon in Chicago’s South Shore neighborhood. The incident occurred around 2 p.m. near the intersection of 71st and Chappel, where reports indicate that a Chicago police officer fired shots at an individual who was allegedly shooting at another person.
