The NRA is accepting applications for the 2027 NRA Outstanding Achievement Youth Award from junior shooting sports participants who demonstrate active involvement in their communities and in shooting sports through personal contributions, educational pursuits, and accomplishments.
Created to foster greater appreciation of NRA programs and increase awareness of youth shooting sports opportunities, the award is open to eligible participants through their 21st birthday. Applicants must complete six core requirements and five elective requirements. Applications are due annually by May 1. The top three applicants will receive awards of $5,000 for first place, $3,000 for second place, and $2,000 for third place.
