Silencer Central, a leading provider of firearm suppressors, has once again been recognized by Inc. Magazine as one of the fastest-growing private firms in the United States. Silencer Central ranked second among all qualifying companies in South Dakota this year, as well as second among those in Sioux Falls, S.D. Nationally, the company placed 87th in the consumer products category on the prestigious Inc. 5000 list and secured the 1,339th spot overall.

Inc. Magazine’s annual Inc. 5000 list provides a unique look at the independent businesses prospering within the U.S. economy. Facebook, Chobani, Under Armour, Microsoft and Patagonia were among those familiar firms to receive the honor in the past, a development that played a big role in the gaining national attention required to become household names today.
Silencer Central has solidified its reputation as a leader in the firearm industry in the last 19 years. Its focus on unparalleled expertise, compliance and customer education in suppressors has allowed it to maintain a high standard of quality and service, making it one of the largest suppressor dealers and manufacturers in the nation. The company made Inc. 5000 list in 2022, claiming the 1309th slot.
The 2024 Inc. 5000 list ranks businesses based on percentage of revenue growth from 2020 to 2023. To be eligible, the companies must have been founded and generated revenue by March 31, 2020. The firms must be U.S.-based, privately held, for-profit and independent—not divisions or subsidiaries of other companies—as of Dec. 31, 2023 (some on the list may have gone public or been acquired since then, however).
