Adams Arms Set To Relaunch

Alexandria Pro-Fab, a contract machine shop based in Minnesota, announced that it has purchased the assets of Adams Arms, along with all of the company’s intellectual property, and it plans to relaunch the company in the second quarter of 2025. “We’re a veteran-owned company, and we’ve been doing this a long time,” said Greg Ellingson, chief operating officer of Alexandria Pro-Fab. “The quality of our products will be the same. It’s just under different leadership. We’ll be able to cut out some of the middleman element of things and ensure that Adams Arms remains on the leading edge in piston-driven [AR-15] systems.”

At its relaunch, the company plans to offer a limited selection of piston-driven rifles under the Adams Arms brand, including 16″-barreled carbines and 11.5″-barreled pistols. “Our intent is to ultimately offer most, if not all, of Adams Arms’ previous product lines,” Ellingson said.

Alexandria Pro-Fab, first established in 1976, began producing firearms and components, including pistol frames, for several industry manufacturers starting in 2008.
