In the early hours of May 2, 2025, an armed robbery occurred at the Clyde Road Mobil gas station in Hartland Township, where a suspect threatened an employee with a semi-automatic handgun. The incident unfolded around 3:15 AM, prompting a swift response from the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office as deputies arrived shortly after the crime was reported.

The suspect, described as an unknown black male approximately 5’10” to 5’11” tall and wearing all black clothing and a black facemask, made off with an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes before fleeing the scene on foot. The investigation remains ongoing, with authorities urging anyone with information to come forward.
