Delaware State Police have arrested 31-year-old Cortez Crawford from Wilmington for his alleged involvement in an armed robbery that took place outside a Dunkin’ on July 5. According to reports, Crawford approached a 32-year-old woman on the sidewalk, held a knife to her throat, and demanded her purse, which she surrendered without injury.
Investigators identified Crawford and secured a warrant for his arrest while he was already in custody on unrelated charges at the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution. On July 15, he faced charges for first-degree robbery and possession of a deadly weapon during a felony, with bail set at $40,000.
