Willimantic police have arrested 27-year-old Kaseim Brown following a shooting that occurred on Halloween night during a confrontation at a local bar. The arrest comes after Brown was located in New York, where he was serving time for unrelated charges, prompting officers to travel there to enforce the arrest warrant secured through their investigation.

Brown faces several serious charges, including criminal possession of a firearm, unlawful discharge of a firearm, and conspiracy to commit first-degree assault. He was held on a $250,000 cash/surety bond and appeared in court the following day, marking a significant development in a case that rattled the local community on a festive night.
