Cash Almond, 31, and Shannon Cronin, 37, were apprehended driving a GMC Envoy following reports of the robbery on November 19. Police initially responded to Winterborn Lane just before 10:15 p.m. amidst concerns over an apparent armed threat.
Upon their arrest, the officers discovered that the weapon used in the incident was a BB gun, not a firearm. Both suspects have been charged with armed robbery, first-degree assault, and second-degree assault, and are currently held at the Wicomico County Detention Center.
