The gathering, set for June 6 at 6 p.m. at the Jessye Norman Amphitheater & Plaza, will feature local leaders including Sheriff Eugene Brantley and Augusta Commissioners, aiming to unite the community against gun violence.
Participants are encouraged to wear orange, the national color symbolizing the fight against gun violence, as they partake in a poignant balloon release. This free event is open to the public and seeks to foster awareness and action in response to the ongoing impact of gun violence within local communities.
