Baldwinsville High School is on lockdown while a student reportedly possessing a BB gun has been taken into custody. The situation escalated to include a shelter-in-place order at the high school, with a comprehensive search of classrooms conducted by law enforcement to ensure the safety of all students and staff.
Superintendent Joseph M. DeBarbieri notified parents of the situation, stating that both Elden Elementary and Durgee Junior High are currently in a lockdown state as a precautionary measure.
