As Pennsylvania’s deer rut reaches its peak, archery hunters find November to be the prime time for hunting, with increased deer activity throughout the day. Bucks actively chase does and compete with one another, making them more accessible to hunters during this season.
This year, for the first time, hunters can also take advantage of Sunday hunting during the early archery season, significantly expanding their opportunity in the field. Recent successes include local hunters Cody and Dina Kushner, who both tagged large bucks in consecutive days, illustrating the potential for great rewards during this peak hunting period.
