Columbus Police Probe Two Non-Fatal Shootings

Columbus Police Probe Two Non-Fatal Shootings

Columbus police are investigating two separate shootings that occurred in the early hours of Sunday, with both victims expected to recover. The first incident took place around 1:00 a.m., when officers responded to a local hospital for a gunshot victim who reported the shooting occurred at E. Brighton Road and Oaklawn Street. Only minutes later, another shooting was reported in the 2700 block of Cleveland Avenue, where a second victim was also found with a gunshot wound.

Authorities are urging anyone with information about these shootings to reach out to the Columbus Police Felony Assault Unit or Crime Stoppers, emphasizing community involvement in solving these cases. With both victims recovering, the investigation is ongoing and highlights a need for public safety in the area.
