CZ, a Czech company with a long history of producing bolt-action sporting rifles, introduced a revolutionary design in 2021 with the modular CZ 600. Now for 2025, the company is updating the model with the CZ 600+.

The CZ 600+ is an update to the rifle introduced four years ago.

The major update of the new model is that it delivers on CZ’s original promise of a user-interchangeable barrel system on the 600, with a new and updated barrel/receiver interface design. While the rifles are already on the market, accessory barrels are scheduled to be available by late fall.

All other features are the same as the original 600. These include a multi-lug bolt with a 60-degree throw and controlled-round feeding and cold hammer-forged barrels.

All rifles have CZ’s “Silent, Ergonomic, and Ambidextrous” (SEA) crossbolt safety and a user-adjustable trigger with four pre-set weights. Magazines are a proprietary detachable box that can be also be locked in place so that the rifle can be loaded through the action (except for the Trail model).

All CZ 600s have a user-adjustable trigger with four pre-set weights.

The 600+ is made in three actions sizes: mini, medium and long. They use an aluminum alloy receiver with machined-in Picatinny optics mounting rails or a steel receiver that is drilled and tapped to accept M700 bases, depending on the model. Steel and aluminum parts are given a nitride finish. All rifles have their muzzle threaded.
