Dearborn police and Crime Stoppers of Michigan are offering a $20,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest of the suspect involved in the fatal road rage shooting of 19-year-old Rawan Baseti. The shooting occurred on February 21 at the intersection of Tireman Avenue and West Morrow Circle, following an incident where Baseti was allegedly cut off by another driver in Detroit.
As Baseti attempted to gather the other driver’s license plate number, shots were fired at her vehicle, resulting in fatal injuries. Police have detained three persons of interest and hope the reward will encourage witnesses to come forward. Authorities urge anyone with information to contact the Dearborn Police Department or submit anonymous tips through Crime Stoppers.
