Ryan Christopher Williams, 46, made his initial court appearance on felony assault charges after allegedly threatening an East Helena High School student with a gun. According to law enforcement, the incident occurred as the victim was heading to school, where Williams confronted them and pointed a pistol, raising serious concerns about community safety.

The court has set a bond of $20,000, and if posted, Williams must surrender his firearms and report to pre-trial services.
