While some departments, like the Tampa Police, are reviewing alternatives, others, such as Plant City Police, currently have no plans to discontinue its use. SIG Sauer stands by the safety of the P320, claiming it meets industry standards and cannot fire without a trigger pull. As safety becomes a priority, the U.S. Air Force has also paused its version of the P320 after a recent incident, prompting discussions on the effectiveness and future of this widely-used firearm among law enforcement.
