No injuries are reported after a gun was drawn during a confrontation between two male customers at the Salem Road Walmart in Covington, Georgia, on May 4. The incident occurred around 8:50 a.m. and is considered an isolated altercation, but authorities from the Newton County Sheriff’s Office (NCSO) are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the event.

This incident marks the second major security concern at the Salem Road Walmart in just two months, following a fatal shooting in April that left multiple people injured and raised serious questions about safety in the store. Both individuals involved in the latest incident left the premises without arrest, escalating public interest in how Walmart and law enforcement will respond to these troubling events in the community.
