A Sunday morning altercation between two male customers at a Walmart in Covington, Georgia, took a dangerous turn when one individual pulled out a gun, according to the Newton County Sheriff’s Office. Law enforcement arrived at the Salem Road store shortly before 9 a.m., discovering that although the firearm was brandished, it was not discharged and no one sustained injuries during the incident.

The circumstances surrounding the confrontation are under investigation, and witnesses reported that both participants departed the scene shortly after the altercation. This event adds to ongoing concerns about safety in public spaces and raises questions about conflict de-escalation. For more details on this developing story, click below.
