High Country Idaho Mule Deer

Jordan Budd hunts mountain mule deer during Idaho’s rifle season. Jordan knows that you can’t kill an old bruiser if you always settle for younger bucks, so patients, pickiness, and hard hunting is the game plan and motivation. Hunting solo, Jordan doesn’t waste any time glassing up a solid buck that involves a long and heavy hike to get closer. Wiley mule deer in rugged terrain make this first multi-day stalk difficult, so Jordan decides to relocate. Plenty of critters are found on the mountain, but the right buck never presents itself to Jordan.
