Holosun is known for its lineup of affordable electronic optics for handguns and rifles, as well as laser sights and weaponlights. New for 2026, the company is releasing new versions of two of its most popular handgun optics with the 407 Comp, 407C-X3, 507C-X3 and 507-Promax.
The 407 Comp is designed as a minimalistic sight for competitive shooters. Its aluminum housing has a 1.1×0.87-inch window. Powered by a single CR1632 battery, which is installed in a side tray and can be replaced without removing the optic, it uses an RMR footprint. The 407 Comp uses a reticle with a 6 MOA dot. It is available with gold ($330), green ($342), or red ($330) reticles.
Holosun’s popular 407C and 507C are now available in an X3 generation, what the company calls “a streamlined modernization of two of Holosun’s most trusted optics.” X3 updates include a modernized 7075-T6 aluminum housing that retains a 0.91×0.67-inch window, enhanced light-sensing behavior with automatic brightness and improved placement of its forward-facing photodiode through Holosun’s Solar Failsafe system. Reticles turn on with a Shake Awake system and are powered by solar and a CR1632 battery in a side tray. Both share an RMR mounting footprint.
The 407C-X3 uses a 2 MOA dot. It is available with gold ($283), green ($295), or red ($283) reticles.
The 507C-X3 reticle can be selected between a 2 MOA central dot, a 32 MOA outer ring or the two combined. It is available with gold ($353), green ($377) or red ($353) reticles.
The 507-Promax is designed for the competitive shooter, with an enlarged window (1.18×0.98-inch) and a forward-leaning sunshade. Like other 507 models, it has a 7075-T6 aluminum housing, Holosun’s Solar Failsafe and Shake Awake systems. Its battery is installed in a side tray, and it uses an RMR footprint.
The 507-Promax uses Holosun’s Performance Reticle System with 2 MOA central dot with selectable 8, 20 and 32 MOA outer circles. It is available with gold ($471), green ($506), or red ($471) reticles.
