Authorities in Iberia Parish conduct coordinated raids on two local vape and tobacco shops, resulting in the seizure of more than $15,000 in cash, two firearms, and numerous illegal items. The operation, executed on March 13 as part of a broader investigation by the Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office, targeted Thunder Tobacco and Vapes and EZ Cloud Smoke Shop with assistance from Louisiana Alcohol and Tobacco Control.
During the searches, law enforcement uncovered a significant number of unregulated products at both establishments. The ongoing investigation raises concerns about local compliance with laws governing tobacco and vape sales, prompting authorities to indicate that more information, including potential arrests, will be forthcoming as the case develops.
