For the first time, Ukraine’s military intelligence has reported the discovery of an Indian-made component in a Russian weapon system. The component, a clock buffer from Aura Semiconductor, highlights a notable shift in Russia’s sourcing of military technology as it phases out nearly all American-made parts under international sanctions.
This finding comes amidst HUR’s documentation of nearly 200 newly identified parts across various Russian weaponry, including advanced missiles and drones. Notably, despite maintaining trade ties with Moscow, India is diversifying its defense procurement amid growing geopolitical tensions, complicating the dynamics of international arms supply.
