The year 2026 might end up as “The Year of the Suppressor.” More and more firearms owners are learning the benefits of using suppressors for target shooting and hunting and making their first suppressor purchases, encouraged by the fact that the NFA suppressor tax has ended. Over the years, many firearm manufacturers have gotten into the suppressor business, and that process seems to have accelerated this year. Bergara joins that crowd by introducing its first suppressor, the BTi30.
Designed and manufactured in the U.S., the BTi30 is a .30-caliber suppressor made from Grade 5 titanium that is rated to handle up to a .300 Rem. Ultra Mag. from a 16-inch barrel. It is “engineered to minimize point-of-impact shift and tighten groupings up to 25 percent versus traditional suppressors or bare muzzles.” Its helical-fluted body is designed for enhanced cooling and is manufactured using 3D printing.
A modular design, the BTi30 has a removable mount that is HUB-compatible with 1.375×24 TPI threads, resulting in “maximum adaptability without proprietary limits.” Each suppressor is supplied with a direct-thread taper mount with 5/8×24 TPI threads that is muzzle-indexed to prevent alignment issues. The HUB compatibility means that the BTi30 can be used with many direct-thread and quick-detachable mounts on the market.

The suppressor’s muzzle cap is also removable and comes with both a vented and sealed cap. According to Bergara, using the vented cap “reduces peak pressure in the blast chamber, resulting in quicker recovery, enhanced accuracy, and less blowback to the bolt face and shooter.” The sealed cap gives maximum sound reduction. Both mount and end cap can be removed with a 5/8-inch wrench.
The BTi30 suppressor is 1.75 inches in diameter, 6.5 inches long, and weighs 12.9 ounces. Each suppressor is given a C-Series high-temperature Cerakote finish with Graphite Black, Tactical Grey or Flat Dark-Earth color options. The suppressors have an MSRP of $1,099.
