Since the U.S. military withdrawal from Afghanistan, the M4, with a firing rate of 700-970 rounds per minute and an effective range of up to 600 meters, has been repeatedly recovered from terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir. The first recorded use occurred in 2017, with subsequent recoveries escalating over the years, emphasizing a troubling trend in the operational capacity of these groups.
