Colorado Springs Police recently executed a major drug and firearms bust following the arrest of 45-year-old James Embry for felony eluding. The arrest, which occurred on South Cascade Avenue, unearthed ten firearms, including five rifles and four pistols, alongside thousands of grams of various drugs, such as 2,351 grams of fentanyl and 411 grams of methamphetamine.

In addition to the firearms and drugs, officers recovered over $16,500 in cash from Embry’s vehicle and his residence. The police also noted that some of the firearms were potentially stolen, adding to the seriousness of the charges against him. He now faces multiple counts of narcotics and weapons violations and is booked in the El Paso County Jail.
