Robert Jacob Clark is sentenced to nearly six years in federal prison after stealing 13 firearms from a Klamath Falls pawn shop, intending to trade them for drugs. Surveillance footage captured him breaking in and escaping with a duffel bag filled with handguns and a shotgun, as he later admitted to hiding the guns with plans to sell them to drug cartel members for cash.

While serving his sentence, Clark reveals his history of addiction to methamphetamine and fentanyl, which he claims contributed to his criminal behavior. This case sheds light on the overlaps between substance abuse and gun crimes, particularly as Clark’s stolen firearms later surfaced in the hands of convicted felons in the San Francisco Bay Area, raising concerns about illegal gun trafficking.
