In a significant move to combat gun violence, Michigan announces the allocation of over $6.6 million in grants aimed at supporting local prevention programs during Gun Violence Prevention Month this June. Governor Gretchen Whitmer emphasizes the crucial role these initiatives play in enhancing community safety, particularly highlighting the multifaceted Healing. Love. Engagement. These comprehensive efforts showcase Michigan’s commitment to creating safer environments for all residents.
