It’s been 75 years since the first Smith & Wesson J-frame revolver, the Chief’s Special, was introduced. Since then, these pocket revolvers have remained a popular option for concealed carry. Firearms distributor Lipsey’s upped the J-frame game with its “Ultimate Carry” revolver series introduced in 2024. Now the company is taking that lineup one step further with its new-for-2025 Smith & Wesson Ultimate Carry Titanium J-frame revolvers in .32 H&R Magnum.

Lipsey’s exclusive Ultimate Carry Titanium revolvers come as the matte-black 432 and the matte-stainless 632. Both are chambered in .32 H&R Magnum. The cartridge is not only available in many loadings tailored for self-defense, its smaller diameter gives the revolver an extra round of capacity over .38-cal J-frames, for a total of six cartridges. Alloy-frame Ultimate Carry revolvers differ from a typical S&W 432/632 in several ways, most notably in the fact that what is traditionally a steel cylinder has been replaced by one made of titanium. The weight-saving material knocks three ounces off the revolver for a total of 13 ozs. Neither model has an internal lock.

Each revolver is given Lipsey’s “Ultimate Carry” treatment. This includes an upgraded “Endurance Package” on the internals that has an optimized geometry and springs for a smoother trigger pull. The front edge of the cylinder is beveled for easier carry and the chambers chamfered for quicker reloads. Sights are fixed, but upgraded to a pinned XS tritium front sight with green ring and a black, serrated rear notch sight fitted into a dovetail. Two sets of grips are included—Smith & Wesson’s rubber boot grip and Hamre Forge “American Fighting Revolver” (AFR) Undercover grips. Also included is a coupon to purchase Hamre Forge’s Hook carry system grip.

Both the 432 and the 632 Ultimate Carry Titanium have an MSRP of $825. For more information, see Smith & Wesson’s websites for the Lipsey’s exclusive titanium 432 Ultimate Carry and the 632 Ultimate Carry.
