Having celebrated a century in business last year, Stoeger Industries is a firearms import business that is a subsidiary of Benelli. Among the company’s most popular products are its semi-automatic M3000 and M3020 shotguns. New for 2025, the company is offering a dedicated turkey hunting version of the 12-ga. M3000 and 20-ga. M3020.
Based on Stoeger’s proven inertia-driven M3000 semi-automatic shotgun design, the Turkey Edition is tailored for that type of specialized hunting. Chambered for 2 3/4” and 3” shells (four round capacity), it has a 22” barrel and comes supplied with an extra-full extended thread-in choke tube of the Beretta/Benelli Mobil pattern.
The vent-rib barrel has a green Hi Viz fiber optic front sight and its receiver is drilled and tapped for red dot sights using the same optics mounting plates as the company’s STR-9 handguns. Equipped with quick-detachable sling swivel studs, the shotgun comes supplied with a paracord sling. To complete the package, furniture, barrel and receiver are given a Mossy Oak Bottomland camo finish. The M3000 Turkey Edition shotgun weighs 6.9 lbs.
As the downrange performance of smaller gauge shotgun ammunition improves, 20 gauge is becoming an increasingly popular chambering for turkey hunting shotguns, hence the M3020 Turkey Edition. Chambered for 2 3/4” and 3” shells, it shares the 22” barrel, Hi Viz front sight, extended extra-full choke tube, supplied sling, and Mossy Oak Bottomland finish of the 12 gauge model. Its receiver has a Picatinny rail mounted for attaching optics. The M3020 Turkey Edition weighs 5.4 lbs.
