Few companies have kept the CZ 75 going like the Italian manufacturer Tanfoglio. From competition pistols to affordable concealed-carry handguns, Tanfoglio manufactures CZ 75 pattern pistols in a variety of forms. New for 2025, the company is adding two new variants to its lineup with the Hexagon Tactical and Hexagon P.

The Hexagon series of Tanfoglio pistols get their name from the integrally compensated barrel with its hexagonal port and matching slide cut.

Tanfoglio’s Hexagon models take their name from the hexagonal shaped “HeXagon” compensator port in both their slide and barrel. The Hexagon Tactical is a full-size pistol with a steel frame. Its integral compensator combines with a cold hammer-forged Lothar Walther bull barrel to control muzzle flip and allow for faster follow-up shots. Its front sight is positioned behind the port for an unobstructed sight picture.

The Hexagon Tactical is a full-size pistol with a steel frame and Cerakote finish.

The Hexagon Tactical’s frame has finger grooves machined into the frame’s front and rear strap, an extended beavertail, as well as a Picatinny accessory rail machined into its dustcover. Grips are made of aluminum. The slide has serrations at the front and rear. Both slide and frame are finished in a flat dark earth Cerakote.

The Hexagon Tactical comes with a replaceable front sight and an adjustable rear sight dovetailed to its removable optics-mounting plate. The gun’s frame is drilled-and-tapped for optic mounts, too.

The pistol has a myriad of sighting options. It is supplied with an interchangeable front sight and a micrometer-adjustable rear sight. The rear sight is removable to allow for the mounting of optics through a plate system. Last but not least, the pistol’s frame is drilled and tapped for a competition-style optics mounting system. The Hexagon Tactical is available chambered in either 9 mm Luger (18-round capacity) or 10 mm Auto (15-round capacity). Each pistol ships in a hard case with two magazines with aluminum baseplates and has an MSRP of $1,485.

The Hexagon P has similar specs as the Tactical, with its most notable difference being that its frame is made of fiberglass-reinforced polymer with molded-in anti-slip texturing. The lightweight frame and lightening cuts in the slide mean the polymer Hexagon weighs 30 ozs., or 15 ozs. less than the Tactical version. Metal components have a black AFC mil-spec finish. The rear sight is fixed and the front post is interchangeable, and an adapter plate is available as an accessory to allow the use of red-dot optics. It is available only chambered in 9 mm Luger with a 17-round capacity and ships in a hard case with two magazines. The Hexagon P has an MSRP of $660.

For more information, see the Italian Firearms Group’s Hexagon Tactical and Hexagon P websites.
