CVA has introduced the Scout XP and Scout XP-SB Series, the next evolution of the highly regarded Scout line of single-shot rifles. Built for hunters and shooters who value simplicity, accuracy and adaptability, the Scout XP series combines the proven performance of the Scout platform with modernized ergonomics and enhanced adjustability.
At the core of the Scout XP and XP-SB is CVA’s commitment to reliable, break-action performance in a rugged, lightweight package. The updated XP stock design delivers improved comfort and control, making the rifle well-suited for a wide range of shooters and shooting applications—from the deer woods to the range.
A key highlight of the Scout XP series is its buffer tube stock design, which allows for length-of-pull adjustment, ensuring a proper fit for shooters of different sizes and shooting styles. The addition of bolt-on cheek risers further enhances ergonomics by providing consistent eye-to-scope alignment for improved accuracy and shooting confidence.
The Scout XP series is offered in two rifle configurations and one pistol configuration:
- Scout XP-SB featuring a compact, short 16-inch barrel (SB) for enhanced maneuverability in tight hunting environments. This rifle is available in .223 Rem, .308 Win., 350 Legend, .300 BLK and 6 mm ARC.
- Scout XP with a longer 20-inch barrel option for those seeking maximum velocity and a more traditional rifle profile. The Scout XP is available in .35 Whelen, 400 Legend, .45-70 Gov’t, and 450 Bushmaster.
- Scout XP pistols sport an 11.5-inch barrel, are great for hunting situations and enjoyable to shoot. These pistols are available in .223 Rem., .300 BLK, 338 ARC and 350 Legend.
Like all Scout rifles, the XP and XP-SB models maintain the hallmark features shooters expect: a strong break-action design, interchangeable barrel capability and compatibility with a wide range of popular rifle calibers (availability varies by model). The MSRP for the Scout XP pistol is $554 and the Scout XP rifles MSRP is $674.
