Norfolk Man Admits Guilt in Drug and Gun Case

Brian Keith Brown, a 55-year-old Norfolk resident, pleads guilty to multiple charges, including the possession of Schedule II drugs with intent to distribute and possessing firearms during a domestic dispute. Police discovered over 21 grams of methamphetamine and two firearms during their response to a call from Brown’s wife, who reported he had a weapon.

Commonwealth’s Attorney Ramin Fatehi emphasizes the dangers of methamphetamine, noting its potential to lead to violent behavior, especially when mixed with firearms. Brown will face sentencing on August 1, where the judge will evaluate his accountability and the necessity of community protection based on arguments from both the prosecution and the defense.
